The MRC is offering funding for high profile medical research projects, known as “Flagship Projects” because of the possibility of their considerable impact on the health of our nation.
Submissions were reviewed and two out of five chosen to receive Flagship status.
The Flagship Projects are the largest medical research grants made by the MRC.
The title of the application is “Tuberculosis Transmission: Host, Bacterium and Environment”.
The grant is made over three years.
