
Lerato Maupa
Lerato Maupa is a Human Resources Executive, registered Assessor and Moderator and Agile Talent Certified Professional.
She has over two decades of human capital experience having worked in various industries which include Logistics, Manufacturing, Mining and Banking. Her focus has been on Organizational Effectiveness, Business Transformation, Talent Management, Change Management, Strategy Planning and Execution.
Lerato is an advocate for the advancement of women and spends her time coaching young graduates and preparing them for the world of work. She has participated in Partners for Possibility a co-learning partnership between School Principals and Business Leaders, enabling social cohesion through partnerships, and empowering Principals to become change leaders in their schools and communities. She is currently a goodwill mentor in the Realema Teacher Intern Programme.
Lerato holds a Master of Science in Human Resources, a Psychology Degree, a National Diploma in Human Resources Management, a Diploma in Learning and Development, and a Diploma in Information Technology. She has completed the WITS Executive Development Programme, the Stellenbosch Executive Development Programme Women in Leadership and has completed the Board Master Class Programme through Business Engage.
She was Chairperson of the Woman’s Forum from 2017 – 2020. She has served as a member on the 64th and 65th Institute of People Management (IPM) Convention Programme Committee and as Chairperson of the 66th (2022) and 67th (2023) IPM Convention Programme Committee.
She is a Board Member of Holy Rosary School for Girls and a member of the 30% Club Steerco. She was awarded second finalist of the Inclusive Leader award in 2019 by Business Engage and is a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
